What is our MOPPETS Program?
Meet
the MOPPETS director

MOPPETS provides loving care for children newborn through kindergarten. While moms attend the MOPS meetings, the children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs. The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development

Benefits for Children

  • social growth through group activities and play
  • physical, emotional and creative development through crafts, games, snacks, and songs
  • spiritual growth through Bible stories and values relevant to their lives
Newborn-Age 2 are cared for in classes that are age and developmentally appropriate Ages 3-K use their energy and curiosity to learn through storytelling, crafts, music, snack, outdoor and indoor free-time play.

Please help us provide a wonderful experience for your children by adhering to the following guidelines:

Well Child Nursery/Classrooms. If your baby or child has a cold or other illness, he/she will be more comfortable at home, and that would help us avoid passing the illness on to other children in the nursery or classroom.

Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if your child is not potty trained.

Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.

*Due to the need to maintain adequate staffing levels, we do require that each mom help in the Children's Program once or twice each year. This ensures that our program meets appropriate adult-child ratios so that the children receive the best care possible. You will receive a tape of the MOPS speaker and a craft kit to take home. We thank you for your service in this area. It is a blessing to our children and our moms.

**Please note, due to the large class sizes of our children's program and the need for space for new children, if your child misses three or more MOPS classes in a row, he/she may be placed on a waiting list until adequate staffing can be found.  Thank you for your understanding.

If you are interested in helping either as a teacher, helper, or sub, please contact us. Click here for more information about the children's program.

If you know of someone who would be interested in helping with the Children's Program, either on a regular basis or as a substitute please have them contact us. We do have some paid positions available. We are always in need of teachers and workers. We never want to turn a mom away. Thank You.
